WHO IS THE LEXINGTON BAPTIST ASSOCIATION?

The Lexington Baptist Association, in partnership with our North American Mission Board, composed of 77 Southern Baptist churches exists to help every church take its next step to be on mission and to encourage every believer to live on mission.

LBA’s mission field is Lexington County and portions of Richland, Newberry, Edgefield, and Saluda Counties. These counties contain ethnic, religious, and socio-economic diversity. Approximately 280,000 people in our mission field do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Your financial gifts to LBA provide FREE services to a multitude of local missions and ministries.

WHAT IS THE WEEK OF PRAYER?

The Week of Prayer is annually observed by LBA churches to specifically pray for the mission               needs and opportunities. We can not do what we do without the supernatural work of God. Your prayers are a necessity.

Prayer guides are available for your church to order or can be downloaded for printing. You can find this and more on the resource page.

The official date for the annual Week of Prayer is the first Sunday in May through the second Sunday in May. Your church can choose this date or another time best fitted for your church calendar.

WHAT IS THE SPECIAL MISSIONS OFFERING?

100% of your gifts go towards our Special Missions in the Lexington Baptist Association. We are sincerely grateful for the prayer support and sacrificial giving of each and every Christian individual and LBA church. You can be assured that we are committed to being the very best stewards of every dollar we receive.
