2017 Christmas Packets for Prisoners

Due to Lexington Baptist Association on Thursday, November 30th, 2017
Every year since 1976, South Carolina Baptist have been in cooperation with the Department of Correction and Department to Juvenile Justice for every adult and juvenile prisoner in S.C. to receive a gift packet. Our association has committed to furnish 1100 prisoner packets for the worthwhile mission endeavor this year.
How to help:
**Please note the following guidelines throughout this page. Do not add items to those listed.**
Volunteer. All are welcomed to come to St. Andrews Baptist Church to help process these packets on December 4. Get more Volunteer information and sign up through email at LBA@MyLBA.org or (803) 356-2543.
The packets should include:
One BLACK non-retractable pen (no wire clip, no other color pen)
One 4 oz - 6 oz toothpaste (no travel size)
One ADULT toothbrush (individually factory sealed, no multi-packs)
One 3.2 oz - 6 oz bar of soap (no travel size, no unwrapped/unboxed bars)
One writing tablet no larger than 5" x 8" (no wire bound or composition books)
Five stamp-embossed #10 envelopes (purchased at US Post Office- no regular stamps)
Two rolls of hard candy like LifeSavers, Mentos, Breath Savers (NO smarties, Sweetarts, Necco Wafers, Rolos, Starbursts or TicTacs)
One 1 gallon-size zipper bag for above items (no other size bags accepted)
ALL ITEMS MUST FIT IN THE ZIPPER BAG WITH ZIPPER CLOSED SECURELY.
Please do NOT include: washcloths, toothbrush holders, floss, soap dishes, combs
